Pasteurella is an agent which affects the reproductive and respiratory system of the rabbit. Treatment is crucial since the disease could slow down or totally inhibit the mating and reproduction of offspring in the rabbit farm. The handlers should watch out for nasal secretions and inflammation in the reproductive organs. If there is significant swelling, the rabbits should be tested immediately. The disease would worsen immediately which would be very dangerous since the reproductive organs could be damaged irreversibly. The rabbit could also die of pneumonia if the respiratory system is greatly affected. A single infected rabbit could spread the disease to the rest of the colony if the handler is not careful. It should be isolated from the rest of the rabbits. In fact, it should be sacrificed if the disease could not be completely treated.

Coccidia are the most common organism causing diarrhea among rabbits. This disease is transmitted through a dirty water supply. This disorder is considered very dangerous since the rabbit could be greatly dehydrated in a short period of time. This could prove to be fatal if the rabbit is not hydrated immediately. That is why the rabbit farm should be equipped with a filter and purifier in order to avoid infection. An extensive line up of antibiotics can be used to treat the disorder.
Clacivirus is the most dangerous among the agents causing diseases. It directly affects the blood circulation of the rabbit. It is transmitted through insects such as flies and bugs. Once the rabbit is infected with the disease, it would spread easily to the other systems since the blood cells are directly affected. RCD vaccine should be administered immediately in order to prevent the disease from progressing. RCD vaccine should also be injected to the other rabbits in case the disease would spread.

The rabbit being handled should be protected from the most dangerous bacteria and viruses in maintain the rabbit farm business. A single infection could spread to hundreds of species in a short period of time. This should be prevented to avoid extensive losses and deficits.
